Our range of needlepunched mulching felts is composed of 95% PLA fibres (Ingeo-certified, NatureWorks) and 5% hemp, forming a 100% bio-based ground cover that biodegrades naturally in soil.
This material offers:
• excellent mechanical strength,
• a dense structure that effectively suppresses weed growth,
• controlled porosity allowing air and water exchange,
• natural biodegradation over 24 to 36 months depending on conditions — no removal or waste to manage,
• weights of 110, 130 and 150 g/m² and widths of 1 to 4 m to suit all project types.
This biodegradable mulching felt is the preferred solution for landscaping, public green spaces, hedge and border planting, embankment stabilisation and nursery projects.
