Bio-based, compostable & material optimisation
Development of bio-based nonwoven materials
Where the application allows, we incorporate plant-based polymers (PLA, PHA, PHB) and natural fibres.
Objective : reduce dependence on fossil resources while guaranteeing stable performance.
Compostable solutions adapted to real-world usage
Available in OK Compost Industrial (controlled conditions) and OK Compost Home (domestic composting) versions, depending on market requirements and end-of-life constraints.
Technical optimisation & material reduction
In certain projects, we replace existing materials with lighter solutions at equivalent strength.
This optimisation enables:
• a reduction in the quantity of polymer used,
• a lower material footprint,
• maintained mechanical and functional properties.
Where relevant, we also develop bio-based custom nonwoven fabrics integrated directly into the process/product logic.
